Dominique Ansel and Wildair chefs Jeremiah Stone and Fabian Von Hauske teamed up to create an apple pie corn dog, which will be available this weekend only. The treat is made of roasted parsnip ice cream and caramelized apple coated in an almond biscuit and cornmeal batter. The dessert dogs – $7 each – ┬ácomes topped with apple cider caramel and crispy sweet potato chips flakes.

Learn how to make authentic roti at this hands on workshop, which includes lunch and a beverage of choice (wine, beer, or soft drink). Tickets are $20 per person; rsvp here.

Sunday Jazz Brunch

Sunday, 12 p.m.

Delilah debuts a jazz brunch this Sunday highlighted by endless bloody marys or mimosas with a choice of entree. The menu offers scrambled eggs with chorizo, scallion and manchego, penne rigate carbonaro with peppered beef bacon, and lamb sliders. Brunch is $35 per person.

Warm up with a selection of unlimited cassoulets (French bean and meat stews) or try your hand at pleasing the crowd with your own recipe. Drinks will be available for additional purchase and those interested in participating can email to register; reserve a $20 ticket in advance here.

If you’ve escaped out from under the mounds of wrapping paper, you’ll notice there’s a weekend ahead. Here are five ways to spend your post-holiday weekend — especially if Santa dropped a little cash in your stocking.

Brewshop 101: Homebrewing Essentials, Bitter & Esters, 700 Washington Avenue, Brooklyn, Saturday, noon

This well-regarded beer shop’s introductory class covers extract brewing, ingredients, and how to avoid brewing blunders. After gaining a thorough understanding of the science and history behind the cause of — and solution to — all of life’s problems, students will also sample a batch of home-brewed beer onsite. Tickets are $55 and can be purchased through the Bitter & Esters website.

A 12 Course Caribbean Cocktail Party, LARK cafe, 1007 Church Avenue, Brooklyn, Saturday, 6 p.m.

If the winter trip to warm waters fell through, enjoy a taste of the Caribbean via a 12-course dinner. Cuisine from islands like St. Lucia, Jamaica, and Trinidad will be the focus of the pop-up party, and your $65 ticket ($120 for a party of two) includes live entertainment.

Milk 1: Steaming, Joe Coffee, 131 West 21st Street, Sunday, 10 a.m.

Want to impress your friends in the new year? Pick up the basics of milk chemistry, steaming theory, and technique at this class designed for barista beginners. The two-hour hands-on session allows students to practice their foaming abilities while understanding the rationale as to why all of that hard work — and noise — is essential. Tickets are $60.

New Brunch, Bacchanal, 146 Bowery, Sunday, 11:30 a.m.

Craig Hopson recently launched a new “barrel brunch” on Sundays, and guests looking for something inventive should consider heading to the Bowery. Dishes include an everything bagel eclair with smoked salmon and dill cream cheese, and a whole-grain waffle with candied orange, cranberries, and maple cream. For $20, you’ll also get bottomless drinks for two hours with the purchase of a main course. Drinks include bloody marys, mimosas, house-selected barrel wines, draft beers, and special brunch cocktail.

Thai Noodle Pop Up, Jimmy’s No. 43, 43 East 7th Street, Sunday, 2 p.m.

This Sunday, head over to the East Village, where chefs Satika “Cherry” Kanchanamusik and Chompoo Nitmai will serve an a la carte menu of Thai favorites and oddities like nam tok moo, a pork soup that includes blood as an ingredient and is topped with pork crackling. Three different kind of noodle soup will be available for $6 each, and appetizers like barbecued pork skewers and miang kana — dried shrimp, ginger, lime, chiles, peanut, and coconut wrapped in Chinese broccoli leaves — will be $5 each.
