Eat nYc: The Bronx Food And Wine Festival
The Bronx Zoo Dancing Crane Pavilion (2300 Southern Boulevard, Bronx)

A selection of the Bronx’s top breweries, restaurants, and distilleries are headed to the Bronx Zoo where awards for the best chef and restaurant from the borough will be presented. Tickets start at $75. Reserve yours here.

NYC African Food Festival
Brooklyn Navy Yard (63 Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn)
Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Celebrate African food and heritage at this festival, which will highlight vegetarian and vegan dishes. The event includes cooking demonstrations, dishes from over 25 restaurants and chefs, and a Sunday brunch party. Ticket packages start at $20. Reserve yours here.

Home Brew Takedown
Hill Country Barbecue Brooklyn (345 Adams Street, Brooklyn)
Sunday, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Sample 25 of the city’s best home brews at this walk around tasting, where $20 gets you unlimited beers for two hours. Guests can also opt for a $40 ticket which includes a brat, all-you-can-eat queso, frito pies, and nachos. Reserve your ticket here.

Sunday BBQ Dinner 
The Breslin Bar & Dining Room (16 W. 29th Street)
Sunday, 5 p.m.

The Breslin is now offering a barbecue dinner featuring smoked pork shoulder, house-made beef sausage, and sides like fried okra fritters. For dessert, feast on a peaches and cream popsicle with streusel. Make a reservation by contacting the restaurant.

Mayanoki Sushi Pop-Up
New York Sushi Ko (91 Clinton Street)
Sunday through August 31, Seatings from 6 p.m until 9 p.m.

Learn how to seek out (and enjoy!) sustainable sushi thanks to Uchi’s chef Jeff Miller. Throughout the rest of August, guests can partake in a fifteen-course omakase-style dinner featuring local and invasive species of fish. Dinner is $125 per person. Reserve seats here.
