For most rookie Saturday Night Live cast members it takes a couple of seasons to warm up and build three-dimensional characters. But for Jay Pharoah, it was during his debut season that audiences instantly recognized and fell in love with his characters. The 25-year-old comedian (and the youngest cast member) is terrific at impersonations that include 50 Cent, Chris Rock, and, of course, his spot-on President Obama. Without Lorne Michaels around tonight, who knows what Pharoah might pull out of his bag of tricks.
