Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society

Expect oversize sounds and ambitions when Darcy James Argue’s awesome 18-piece big band meets the 13-piece Anti-Social ensemble. Secret Society will play works by Vijay Iyer and David T. Little, the raging retrofuturists’ first commissioned pieces, along with music from their recent BAM commission Brooklyn Babylon. Openers Anti-Social, meanwhile, look all the way back to the ’90s with music from the jazz composers’ workshop 11tet.
