Updated: Choice Eats Announces Additional Participants, Still More Coming Up

Mile End’s legendary smoked-meat poutine, with curds and gravy, of course

Choice Eats proudly announces the fourth group of restaurants, bakeries, and other purveyors of delicious foodstuffs to its Tuesday, March 13, festival lineup. Newcomers include: Bep, Brooklyn Brine Co., Fay Da Bakery, Mile End Sandwich, Murray’s Cheese, S’more Bakery, Smorgas Chef, Sheep Station, Vandaag, and ZuZu Ramen. This brings the total up to 68, and a few tickets are still available.

Previously announced participants include Ample Hills Creamery, Allswell, Bi Lokma, Buka, Chinese Mirch, Court Street Grocers, Culture: An American Yogurt Company, Danny Macaroons, Dean Street, Del Posto, Dirt Candy, Ditch Plains, Doughnut Plant, Edi and the Wolf, Emvi Chocolate, Fatty ‘Cue, Goat Town, Gregory’s 26 Corner Taverna, Jane’s Sweet Buns, Joe Dough, Juliette, Kafana, Kelso Restaurant, Kuma Inn, Kumquat Cupcakery, La Galette, Littleneck, Luke’s Lobster, Maima’s Liberian Bistro & Bar, Mama’s Food Shop, Max, Mexico Lindo, Mooncake Foods, Nicky’s Vietnamese Sandwiches, No. 7 Sub, Nom Wah Tea Parlor, Northeast Kingdom, Northern Spy Food Co., O Lavrador, Ovelia Psistaria Bar, Patacon Pisao, Porchetta, Quinto Quarto, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Robicelli’s, SCRATCHbread, Singh’s Roti Shop, Sottocasa, Sparrow Tavern, Spicy Bampa, Tanoreen, Tenpenny, Testaccio, the Blue Stove, the Good Batch, the Meatball Shop, This Little Piggy Had Roast Beef, and Umi Nom.

The fifth annual tasting event occurs in the 69th Regiment Armory, at Lexington and 26th Street, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. But one is well-advised to arrive on the early side.
