Richard Lloyd

Television is carrying on without guitarist Richard Lloyd for their next album, but he is soldiering on alone. He’s not at all slack by himself: on previous solo outings, he’s invited along the band’s drummer, Billy Ficca, and done a rip-roaring Hendrix medley to finish off the set. Suffice it to say that the guy can still bend a mean string and prove that it wasn’t just Mr. Verlaine who made Television into a punk ax maven’s wet dream.
