Last year, Titus Andronicus played a Vice-sponsored Halloween party that culminated in frontman Patrick Stickles being assaulted by a “hired” “security” “guard.” (Stickles’s subsequent blog post totally should’ve made the latest Best Music Writing anthology; get thee to Google if you haven’t read it yet.) So perhaps it’s no surprise that for this sure-to-be-boozy New Year’s Eve gig, Titus have teamed up with Todd P, New York’s go-to pal of the punk-rock people. Come for the rowdy civil-war-allegory anthems; stay for the improbability that anybody’ll try to beat you up. With fellow Jersey boys Real Estate, Andrew Cedermark, and Julian Lynch.
