A Canadian singer-songwriter in the tradition of Alannah Myles and Alanis Morissette, Serena Ryder has collaborated with Randy Bachman, opened for Aerosmith, and is currently embarking on her first-ever US tour with a full band. Expect her richly melodic folk songs (the best of which sound like discarded Melissa Etheridge singles, in both intensity and angst) to pair with the country croon of Oshawa’s Cuff the Duke like a $20 rib eye and a glass of Beaujolais. With Nick Howard.
