RISKY BUSINESS

We’ve all had that morning-after moment when the increasingly lucid memory of last night’s misadventure begins to set in. Meanwhile, the texts have been sent, the Facebook pictures are posted, and your best friend has written a hit one-act play about it featuring a character whose name suspiciously rhymes with your own (OK, maybe that’s just me). But what better way to one-up humiliation than to share your shame with a roomful of strangers? At RISK! True Tales, Boldly Told, embarrassment is the highest badge of honor, not to mention an endless source of hilarity. Kevin Allison, formerly of The State comedy troupe, created the show as a forum for all those spicy narratives that are just too good to go on suppressing. This week’s theme is “Blindsided: Didn’t See It Coming” and features Rachel Dratch (formerly of SNL), Michelle Collins of Best Week Ever, and other comic notables.
